AccessibilityStatement
We believe the web should be accessible to everyone. Our commitment to inclusive design ensures all visitors can engage with our content. Last updated: February 2026
Garmex Sourcing is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
The current conformance status of our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- ARIA landmarks and labels for navigation and interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA requirements
- Descriptive alternative text for all meaningful images
- Responsive design that supports text resizing up to 200%
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- Form labels and error messages associated with their controls
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard using Tab, Enter, Escape, and arrow keys
- Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking and built-in OS voice control
- Screen magnification: ZoomText, built-in OS zoom, and browser zoom up to 200%
Our site is built with modern, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We use Radix UI accessible primitives and follow WAI-ARIA best practices to ensure a robust experience across all assistive technologies.
Our website fully supports keyboard-only navigation. You can use the following keys:
- Tab / Shift+Tab: Move focus forward and backward through interactive elements
- Enter / Space: Activate buttons, links, and other interactive elements
- Escape: Close modals, dropdowns, and mobile navigation menus
- Arrow keys: Navigate within dropdown menus and carousels
All focus states are clearly visible with a distinct outline so you always know where you are on the page.
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Image carousel auto-play: The image carousels on our service pages currently auto-advance. We are actively working to add pause/stop controls and ensure these meet WCAG 2.1 requirements for time-based media.
- Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party services (e.g., WhatsApp chat widget) may not fully conform to accessibility standards. We work with our vendors to improve this.
- PDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility. We are working to remediate these files.
We are committed to resolving these limitations and regularly audit our site for accessibility improvements.

As a company that serves European buyers and brands, Garmex Sourcing is committed to aligning our digital presence with the EAA's requirements. Our ongoing accessibility programme includes:
- Regular accessibility audits against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria
- Training for our development and content teams on accessible design practices
- An accessibility roadmap with measurable milestones
- Engagement with accessibility consultants for third-party review
We view accessibility not as a compliance checkbox, but as a core part of delivering an excellent user experience for all our partners and clients worldwide.
